Congratulations to the following 3Ls that did an outstanding job representing Iowa Law!
- Anthony Fitzpatrick, Mary DeCamp, and Johnathan Janssen received 2nd place for their brief at the Chicago Bar Association's Moot Court Competition.
- National Moot Court Teams had great success with the brief of Austin Michel, Neil Schadle, and Jarred Stindt ranking third in the region. The team of Kayla Boyd, Elizabeth Shaw and Nick Wilson qualified for the second level of competition and will represent Iowa at the National Finals in New York virtually in February 2021.

- Library Skylight Project - Work has started but has been slowed due to manpower, weather and other factors. It is looking doubtful that the project will be finished by Dec 7 but the contractor has been notified that the project needs to stop during our finals period.
- Mark T. Banner Scholarship – Deadline December 4, 2020 - This scholarship is part of The Richard Linn American Inn of Court's commitment to fostering the development of intellectual property lawyers of high ethics, civility and professionalism, and especially those from diverse backgrounds. The application is available on the Linn Inn of Court’s website at http://www.linninn.org/Pages/scholarship.shtml The recipient of the scholarship receives $10,000 to be applied to their legal education. This scholarship is available to law students who have entered into a JD program at an ABA-accredited law school in the United States and who will continue in that program through at least the Fall semester 2021.
- National Tax Law Scholarship Brown, PC is now accepting applications for the firm’s National Tax Law Scholarship, a $500 stipend which will be awarded to a second or third year full-time U.S. law student with a demonstrated interest in tax law. The award will be paid directly to the student, and can be used for any expenses related to legal education, including but not limited to tuition, room, board, books, bar review courses, or commuting expenses.
