The Center for Procedural Skills and Simulation has moved to the Pomerantz Family Pavilion. With a variety of spaces, the center is equipped to help users practice anything from communications simulations to surgical procedures.
A cardiac dysrhythmia is an abnormal heartbeat, where the heart’s rhythm may be irregular, or the heart rate may be slow or fast. Some dysrhythmias are potentially life threatening; others are chronic and managed with medications or a cardiac device.
Please remember to follow the proper process when decommissioning surplus or out-of-date IT devices. Many UI Health Care IT devices contain protected health information (PHI). In order to avoid a HIPAA breach, departments must make sure that HCIS has an opportunity to redact any data from the IT device.

Help us recognize the work of language professionals, specifically interpreters in health care as part of International Translation Day. These translators provide exceptional care to non-English and Limited-English Proficient (LEP) patients and families.

Blind Spots Reporting System has a COVID-19 category for you to submit any COVID-19-related idea, request, concern, etc., to hospital leadership.
