Staff/Faculty Administrators

All staff, and faculty administrators when making non-academic decisions, are expected to meet the standards of conduct described in the university’s Ethics and Responsibilities policy. The policy defines a work culture that supports the quality of work-life within the university community, advances the university’s mission, and is consistent with the university’s core values of excellence, learning, community, diversity, integrity, respect, and responsibility, as well as the university’s commitment to academic freedom and free speech.

After reviewing this policy, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your supervisor or local HR representative.

Faculty

All faculty are expected to meet the standards of conduct described in the university’s Professional Ethics and Academic Responsibility policy. This policy defines faculty members’ responsibilities to students, scholarship, colleagues, the institution, and the larger community. We also encourage faculty to review the Guidelines Regarding Political Activity by Faculty of the University of Iowa

After reviewing this policy, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your DEO, collegiate dean, or faculty HR representatives.
