Team-Based Simulation Design and Debriefing

Team-Based Simulation Design and Debriefing (TSDD) is a three-day immersive course that provides new experiences in learning by exploring the tools found in the framework of simulation and debriefing. The course is available to all UI Health Care faculty and staff and is presented by the Center for Procedural Skills and Simulation (CPSS) in collaboration with the Office of Consultation and Research in Medical Education and the departments of anesthesia, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and nursing.

Protecting patient privacy

Did you know UI Health Care proactively monitors employee access of Epic utilizing privacy monitoring software? This software analyzes all UI Health Care Epic users, looking for employee medical record self-modification, household, and co-worker snooping. In instances of potentially inappropriate activity, the software will flag accesses for review for a team of privacy professionals within the Joint Office for Compliance (JOC).
