"Erin is such an amazing provider. She joined IRL General Pediatrics back in December during COVID and she has flourished. I have only heard amazing feedback from her patients. She is thorough and truly serves her patients. A specific situation that made me want to nominate is when she took time to help a patient. It was the last appointment of her AM session. It was mom and baby and mom couldn't carry the car seat with baby out to the car. Erin took time to help mom by carrying baby in the car seat and accompanied mom out for the day! Soo incredible. Thanks, Erin! IRL General Pediatrics is truly lucky to have you. Thanks for putting your patients first!"

Pride Stickers Have Arrived
To celebrate Pride Month, LGBTQ+ stickers are free for UI Health Care employees, students, trainees, and volunteers who are in the LGBTQ+ community or are allies (supporters). The stickers serve as a symbol of inclusion and support for our LGBTQ+ patients, and are available at the Main Entrance Information Desk and UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital Information Desk.
This sticker is a more inclusive sticker than the traditional rainbow flag, as it includes white, pink, and blue for the transgender and gender non-conforming community, and brown and black for the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color community) as intersecting identities within the LBGTQ+ community.

UI Health Care stringently protects the confidentiality of our patients. Until now, two forms existed to acquire patient authorization for photography, videography, and audio recording:
- G-2dp consent for photo, video, and/or audio monitoring/recording of patients
- Authorization for release of information and/or public use of image (photograph or videotape)
These two forms have now been merged into one form:
This form can be accessed and printed from the Non-Medical Record Forms website.
Please note these important changes to the form and the record-keeping process:
- The new form has two checkboxes to show the intended use of the information: academic and/or promotional.
- The person acquiring the authorization should review the intended use with the patient and check the appropriate box(s) prior to the patient signing the form.
- The signed form should be uploaded into the patient’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) under the media tab.
- This new process is effective June 30, 2021. If a patient signed one of the previously existing authorization forms prior to this date, it is not necessary to have them also sign the newly created authorization form.
