New Email for Academic Structure Inquiries

The Office of the Registrar is writing to share a new email address for our academic organizations and program of study team. This team manages the academic structure components of MAUI, including the creation, maintenance, and documentation of program of study and academic departments within the student information system.

Academic Organizations

Academic organizations include colleges, divisions, departments, subdepartments, programs, projects, and academic service offices.

Our team can help to provide guidance and take systematic action on the following academic organization areas in MAUI:

  • Creating, revising, or inactivating academic orgs
  • Moving administrative responsibilities of academic orgs, programs of study, and courses
  • Administrator panel maintenance
  • Campus address or contact information for MAUI, MyUI, and the General Catalog
  • MFK budget information for course offerings
  • Universal workflow office information for course library, course offerings, and more

Program of Study

Program of study includes majors, minors, certificates, endorsement/licensure preps, and non-degree programs.

Our team can help to provide guidance and take systematic action on the following program of study areas in MAUI:

  • Creating, revising, or ending programs of study or subprograms
  • Creating, adding, or removing learning centers and qualifiers from a program of study (not a student record)
  • Suspending or reinstating admissions
  • Assist with uploading documentation attached to a program of study
  • Revising CIP code information for an existing program of study

Student Program of Study

The following student program of study record adjustments for current students should continue to be sent to reg-maui-support@uiowa.edu.

  • Adding or inactivating a particular student’s program of study
  • Removing or adding a learning center or qualifier to the student’s program of study
  • Updating a particular student’s combined degree program indicator (CPI)

Updates for future admitted students should continue to be sent to admissions.
