Leadership Studies Certificate

Completing the Leadership Studies Certificate is a way students can develop, sharpen, and showcase leadership skills that will serve them for their entire professional career.

Focus on exploring obstacles and challenges faced by women in leadership and how people of all genders can work to overcome these barriers. This course also counts toward the Certificate in Leadership Studies.

A great way to learn about different careers is to talk with others who work in jobs of interest to you! A good time to have an informational interview is over Summer break! Check out our Informational Interviews How To’s to learn more about how to prepare and what questions to ask.

 

 

There’s positive news on the job front.  Employers project hiring 7.2% more new college graduates from the Class of 2021 than they hired from the Class of 2020. That’s a sharp increase from fall 2020, when employers expected to reduce college hiring slightly. (Source: National Association of Colleges and Employers)

Gap Year 

Want or need to take a year or two off before applying to graduate/professional school?  Use this time strategically and productively and build skills for your candidacy for future full-time employment or graduate/professional school admission.  Check out our Planning a Gap Year Experience section.
