“Leadership means helping others around you succeed. I believe being a leader is about genuinely caring for the people around you. As a Peer Mentor for Tippie Direct Admits during the last two fall semesters, I found fulfillment in guiding and offering insights to new students. Being a first-generation student, I understand the uncertainty that often comes with new experiences, and it’s been rewarding to help others navigate their own journeys.”
