New Building Hours Workflow Form
An email was sent out a few weeks ago informing all building coordinators that the process to change building hours will now be through a universal workflow form. The new Building Hours Workflow Form is available on the University Classrooms Building Hours Information page.
Deadline
Please submit all building hours change requests before Thursday, Aug. 1, to allow Access Services adequate time to program electronic access prior to the start of the fall semester.
Review of Current Building Hours
Please review the current building hours on the Building Coordinator List page. You can filter by building and then click the building name to take you to the building information page. If the current hours on the building information page are correct, please send Classroom Scheduling a quick email indicating you have reviewed the building hours and all information is correct. If you need to change the building hours for fall 2024, please submit the Building Hours Workflow Form. The workflow form process will prompt the building hours information to be updated on the FM building information page when the change has been approved and programmed.
On Iowa
We highly recommend that you start the fall semester building hours on the Monday prior to the fall semester (Monday, Aug. 19) as there are many On Iowa and semester start-up events taking place on campus. In addition, instructors often request to preview their classrooms during the week prior to the start of classes.
