Building Hours Updates for Winter 2025-2026

Deadline

In partnership with Campus Safety, the Office of the Registrar, Facilities Management, and Security Engineering Services, winter 2025 standard building hours for buildings with university classrooms (UCRs) are being implemented. Building hour standardization contributes to student safety, efficiency, and campus energy savings. There are two options to choose from, but please note that the second option requires justification.

Please complete the Building Hours Workflow form by December 12, 2025. Thank you for your cooperation and support in making this transition smooth and successful.

Standard Winter Building Hours

Option 1

Standard Winter Building Hour Dates

Standard winter building hours will run from Dec. 20, 2025 – Jan. 16, 2026.

Building Hours Workflow Form

All building hour change requests are to be submitted via the Building Hours Workflow Form. A link to this form is also available on the University Classrooms Building Hours Information page.

Deadline

Please submit all building hours change requests by Friday, Dec. 12, to allow Access Services adequate time to program electronic access prior to the start of winter session.

How You Can Help

Please ensure that your classes and events align with the standardized hours to allow for maximum classroom scheduling options.

University Classroom Hours

All university classrooms will remain locked through the duration of winter break unless a special event is scheduled. Classrooms will be unlocked the week prior to the start of spring semester for instructor preview.
