What do I bring? What do I wear? What do I say?...

Whether you’re searching for an internship, looking to land a full-time job, or just curious as to which companies recruit on campus, you do not want to miss our All Majors Career Fair happening on Thursday, September 21 from 11am-4pm in the IMU Main Lounge & International (2nd Floor) Ballroom! Download the Handshake app

The Handshake app is the best way to research companies attending the fair and view the map so you can easily find where the companies you’re most interested in will be located.

Practice Your Elevator Pitch

Wondering how to introduce yourself to companies? Make sure your pitch is on point and learn more on how to network with employers!

This year while attending the Career Fair, you can Practice your Pitch with real employers in a practice setting outside of the Main Lounge! Stop by the Practice your Pitch area and take a moment to practice before going in.

Practice with Mocks

Make sure you’re interview ready by having a mock interview with one of our employer partners. You’ll be asked general interview questions (like the dreaded, “Tell me about yourself”!) and receive feedback on how you can improve your responses. Having a mock interview is also a great way to network with employers! Sign-up on Handshake!

Use Big Interview

Big Interview can be used to learn and practice your interview skills, but it also is a great tool use before the Career Fair so you can practice telling others about your skills and why you would be a great hire.

Dress for the fair is business/smart casual (or professional if you wish!), but you don’t need to drop a lot of cash to look profesh! Stop by the Clothing Closet & the Queer Trans Closing Closet for free gently-used professional attire, including shoes and accessories.
