New Career Services and Job Searching Platform

The College of Law is in the process of transitioning from Symplicity to our new platform 12Twenty. You should have just received an email from Nathan Davis with a direct link to sign in and access your accounts. Please sign in as soon as possible.

Things to know:

  • We will completely transition to 12twenty beginning June 1st. Job postings will be cross-posted on both Symplicity and 12twenty until June 1st.
  • Fall OCI will be hosted through 12twenty. Career Services will be hosting information sessions to show the new processes so please keep an eye out for that invite.
  • Nathan Davis will have office hours this summer to help anyone having issues with 12twenty.

3L’s: Complete your Graduate Employment Survey (GES) and grab a treat!

We are required by the ABA to report your anonymized employment information. If you have not yet completed your GES, please log in to 12Twenty or stop by our table in the lobby to complete the form and grab a treat! To complete your GES please follow this link https://law-uiowa.12twenty.com/Login to the platform and click on "reset password". You will see the "Jobs and Offers" tile on the bottom row of your screen. If you have any questions or issues logging into 12Twenty please let me know!

If you have previously completed your GES in Symplicity, you can still grab a treat, too. The form only takes a couple of minutes, and this will help avoid having to complete the survey at the graduation ceremony when you want to focus on celebrating! T

Help us say “thank you” to our Therapy Dog Provider!

Our therapy dog provider, Deb Boyles, has been bringing Abby to visit the law school for over three years (pre- and post-COVID). Deb will be moving this summer and, unfortunately, will no longer be able to provide therapy dog visits. We are working to find a new therapy dog provider in the meantime. Deb has been so gracious with her time, as she does her therapy dog work on a volunteer basis. Please help us say “thank you” to her and Abby by signing the card on the front desk in the Dean’s Suite before May 10th (Deb’s last visit). We will miss them!
