**RSVP Deadline** Meet the Law Hawks in Denver, Colorado
Our first Meet the Law Hawks event in Denver RSVP deadline is coming to a close soon. This event is co-sponsored by the University of Iowa Colorado Alumni Association (Hawks on the Rocks). It will be a night of meeting, mixing, and mingling with alumni who are practicing law in Colorado. We are close to capacity with over 20 plus alumni ranging from both the private and public interest law field.

Bar Ready: A Law Student's Guide
This program is dedicated to equipping 3L law students with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to apply for and pass the bar exam. Our goal is to provide guidance, comprehensive resources, and personalized support, ensuring every participant becomes fully prepared, confident, and successful in their bar examination journey. Core Series Presents: Networking & Outreach - Creating Your Legal Links
The law is so wide and includes so many different career paths that no one person can know the inside scoop on all of them. ABA Health Law Section Presents: What is Health Law?
The ABA Health Law Section is pleased to announce the first in a series of free “What Is Health Law?” webinars. In this context, the World Bank Legal Vice Presidency cordially invites you to its annual Law, Justice and Development (LJD) Week where leading practitioners will be discussing opportunities for the international development community to partner for impact by enabling and mobilizing the private sector for sustainable development.

Public Defender Mentorship Program
The Iowa State Public Defender will offer a Monday Mentors program beginning at 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 or later if warranted. It will take place every Monday thereafter at the same time and via the same zoom link provided below. The idea is to provide a time for young public defenders, contract attorneys, and aspiring law students to ask questions whether related to a specific case, criminal defense in general, or career questions, and obtain feedback and guidance from others similarly situated and from defense attorneys with years of experience. Breakout rooms will be provided as needed to facilitate communication. We hope you take advantage of this program. If you are interested in public defense, and cannot make the Monday meetings, please reach out to Kimberly DePalma at kdepalma@spd.state.ia.us.
