Assorted Federal Attorney Positions and Internships
U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division Hiring Programs and Information Sessions
Applications for the DOJ-wide Attorney General’s Honors Program and Summer Law Intern Program will be opening on July 31 and will be due on September 8. In addition, the Tax Division is accepting applications for volunteer interns for the Spring 2022 semester, and that deadline is October 1.
The Tax Division will be offering remote information sessions about the DOJ and the Division, our work, and our hiring programs. We will be hosting six sessions in August that are open to all interested students. Information about the sessions, links, and call-in information for all six sessions can be found by clicking here.
U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment & Natural Resources Division (ENRD) Hiring Programs and Information Session
ENRD is proud to be redoubling our efforts to attract lawyers and law students from around our diverse Nation to a career in public service. ENRD is an especially great fit for attorneys and law students interested in complex civil and criminal litigation in the Federal Courts. Those with an interest in public service and in working on cases involving environmental, public health, natural resource, wildlife, land management, and American Indian and Tribal issues will also find a welcome home with ENRD.

U.S. Department of Justice's Honors Program and Summer Law Intern Program
OARM is excited to announce that the Attorney General’s Honors Program (HP) and Summer Law Intern Program (SLIP) application opens on Saturday, July 31, 2021, and will close on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 11:59 PM ET. Applications must be submitted via the online application. We have a lot of great opportunities through the HP for your third-year law students and recent graduates and for second-year students through the SLIP.

Each week, the Career Services Office is holding a raffle for a $25 gift certificate to the ISBA Bookstore. All you have to do to be in the raffle is to complete your Graduate Employment Survey! If you have already completed your Survey, you don’t have to take any additional steps. You should complete your survey even if you do not yet have post-graduate employment secured! You can find the Survey by logging into Symplicity and clicking the link in red font under “shortcuts” on the right-hand side of the homepage. The 2021 Graduate Employment Survey is available to all 3L’s! The American Bar Association requires law schools to provide employment information as part of the accreditation process, making it crucial that we have accurate employment information. All individual identifying information is confidential and not shared outside the law school. The GES also gives our office your ongoing contact information so that we can share relevant job opportunities with you after graduation.
