Celebration of Graduates at Kinnick

You are receiving this message because we have identified you as being eligible to participate in the Celebration of Graduates at Kinnick.

The Celebration of Graduates at Kinnick gives an opportunity for graduates to celebrate their accomplishments with their classmates and guests at an in-person event.

Please note:

  • This event is not a commencement ceremony.
  • Graduates will not cross a stage.
  • Names and photos will be displayed on Kinnick Stadium’s video board before and after the program.
  • Graduates will be honored as a group with their college during a short program with remarks from UI administrators and student leaders.

All Spring 2021, Summer 2021, and recent REACH Program Completion students are eligible to participate. Eligible students who have applied for a degree should have received an email Monday, April 5th with instructions on how to register.

The deadline to register is May 1 at 11:55 p.m.

  • If you have not yet registered but wish to do so, you will need to find that email to create an account and password before registering.
  • If you have registered and want to update any information you should navigate to the Marching Order Log-In Page referenced in the April 5 email.

Seating and Tickets

Complimentary tickets will be provided to registrants. 

  • Each graduate may reserve one ticket for themselves and will be allotted two tickets for guests.
    • Due to safety and equity concerns, no exceptions can be made for extra tickets.
  • Electronic tickets will be emailed to graduates after the May 1 deadline.
  • Colleges will be grouped together in the Kinnick stands. 
  • No graduates or guests will be allowed on the field.

More seating information will be available when registration numbers are tabulated after the May 1 deadline.

Parking

Complimentary event parking will be available near Kinnick Stadium and at other campus parking locations on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Accessible parking will be available immediately north of the stadium in Hospital Parking Ramp 3.
  • CAMBUS shuttle service will be provided from downtown and other parking sites as needed.
  • All buses are ADA accessible.

More specific parking and shuttle information will be provided when event registration numbers are tabulated after the May 1 deadline.
