Celebration of Graduates

You are receiving this message because we have identified you as being eligible to participate in the Celebration of Graduates at Kinnick Stadium.

This event celebrates the accomplishments of fall 2021, spring 2022, summer 2022 graduates and recent REACH Program Completion Students and will be in addition to in-person commencement ceremonies.

Eligible students will receive an email from Marching Order no later than April 5, 2022, with instructions on how to register. The deadline to register is May 2, 2022. 

Students and guests attending the Celebration of Graduates should enter Kinnick Stadium at Gate A (South End Zone), Gate B (Southwest corner), Gate H (Northwest corner) and Gate M (Southeast corner). Seating will be General Admission in the west stands. 

Regular season game-day search procedures and clear bag policy will be in place. 

Complimentary event parking will be available near Kinnick Stadium and at other campus parking locations on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Please note: 

• This event is not a commencement ceremony, students registering for this event through Marching Order will still need to RSVP in MyUI for commencement attendance. 
• Names and photos will be displayed on Kinnick Stadium's video board before and after the program.
  • Photos will need to be uploaded through Marching Order.
  • If you uploaded a photo in MyUI for commencement during the RSVP process, you will need to submit a photo for this event as well.
• Graduates will be honored as a group with their college during a short program with remarks from UI administrators. Graduates will not cross a stage.

Although it is not required, graduates are invited to wear a cap and gown for this celebratory event.
