Dear CLAS Tenure-Track Faculty, Instructional-Track Faculty, Clinical-Track Faculty, and Departmental Staff:
As previously announced, the Office of the Provost has initiated a review of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, per the mandated five- to seven-year schedule of collegiate reviews. CLAS was last reviewed in 2013-14. View final documents from the 2013-14 CLAS review.
The collegiate review consists of two parts: 1) A self-study of CLAS and our programs by our own faculty and administration, and 2) a peer review conducted by UI faculty members from outside the college as well as reviewers from peer institutions.
Our committee has begun work on the self-study portion of the review, and we need your help. Please complete this survey at your earliest convenience: https://uiowa.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eyZbVbviFa8aOcl.
The deadline for completing the survey is 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23. After that point, responses will no longer be accepted. If you have questions or concerns about accessing or responding to the survey, please contact Brenda Gritsch (brenda-gritsch@uiowa.edu).
Thank you for your vital assistance as we seek to use the 2020-21 self-study to give greater visibility to the work of our faculty and staff, explore issues facing our college, and inform our plans for the future.
Sincerely,
CLAS 2020-21 Self-Study Committee:
