A new semester is underway! We hope you all had a smooth start and are ready for the second half of the academic year.

Last week, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the college released its 2022 DEI Annual Report. Looking forward, the CLAS DEI Committee will lead efforts in defining mentoring structures, developing equity audit guidelines, and creating a DEI toolkit for instructors. Please review the report if you haven’t yet.

The university also recently announced that Dean Sanders will serve as co-chair on the search committee for a new dean in the College of Engineering.

Wishing you a successful spring semester—thank you for all you do and for being part of CLAS.
