The following colleges will hold fall 2021 ceremonies: College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Nursing, Graduate College, Tippie College of Business, and University College. If you are not planning to participate in a ceremony we still encourage you to RSVP “not attending” to help us allocate resources.
If you are graduating in fall 2021 and your college does not hold a fall ceremony, you will not have an RSVP option in MyUI. Please contact the person listed for your college about participating in a future ceremony.
Welcome to fall 2021 commencement, the RSVP portal in MyUI is now open! The RSVP process at IOWA is an Opt-In system. Only students who RSVP "Yes" by the deadline will be recognized at the ceremonies. The RSVP deadline for fall 2021 is Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. You will need to RSVP "Yes" to ensure your name will be read at the ceremony and displayed during the ceremony broadcast.
The RSVP portal is located in MyUI within the Degrees/Graduation Tile by clicking on Commencement Attendance.
