The Commencement RSVP Portal is Open

Our records indicate that you have a fall 2022 degree application on file.

Planning on participating in a fall 2022 commencement ceremony? The RSVP portal in MyUI is now open!

The RSVP process is an opt-in system. Only students who RSVP as "I plan to participate" by the deadline and attend the ceremony will have their names read and displayed during the ceremony broadcast.

The RSVP portal is located in MyUI within the Degrees/Graduation tile by clicking on commencement attendance. You will receive a confirmation email to your uiowa.edu account once your RSVP has been finalized.

• Commencement information: Comprehensive commencement information is available on the UI Commencement website.
• Receive updates: Sign up for the fall 2022 commencement subscription list to receive updates, and encourage your guests to do the same.
• Ceremony details: Visit the commencement ceremonies page and find your college for important information about your ceremony.
• Apparel (cap and gown): Visit the commencement apparel page for information on how to purchase apparel. Apparel will not be available for purchase at the ceremonies.

Deadlines/Reminders

• You can add or edit your RSVP attendance response in MyUI until the end of the day on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022.
• You can add or edit a graduation slide photo until Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022. Slides are for personal use and are not used at the in-person ceremonies.
