The Commencement RSVP Portal is Open
Our records indicate that you have a spring 2023 degree application on file and do not have an RSVP response for commencement.
Planning on participating in a spring 2023 commencement ceremony? The RSVP portal in MyUI is still open!
If you are not planning on participating in a ceremony and wish to stop receiving RSVP reminders, please indicate "Not Attending" in MyUI. We highly encourage all recipients of this email to respond one way or the other in MyUI to help us allocate resources.
The RSVP process is an opt-in system. Only students who RSVP as "I plan to participate" by the deadline and attend the ceremony will have their names read and displayed during the ceremony broadcast.
The RSVP portal is located in MyUI within the Degrees/Graduation tile by clicking on commencement attendance. You will receive a confirmation email to your uiowa.edu account once your RSVP has been finalized.

Deadlines/Reminders
- You can edit your RSVP attendance response in MyUI until the end of the day on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
- You can add or edit a commencement slide photo until Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Slides are for personal use and are not used at the in-person ceremonies.
Grad Fair
Located at University of Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore.
- March 28, 10 a.m –6 p.m.
- March 29, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
