The Commencement RSVP Portal is Open

Our records indicate that you have a spring 2023 degree application on file and have not RSVP'd for commencement.

Planning on participating in a spring 2023 commencement ceremony? The RSVP portal in MyUI is now open!

The RSVP process is an opt-in system. Only students who RSVP as "I plan to participate" by the deadline and attend the ceremony will have their names read and displayed during the ceremony broadcast.

The RSVP portal is located in MyUI within the Degrees/Graduation tile by clicking on commencement attendance. You will receive a confirmation email to your uiowa.edu account once your RSVP has been finalized.

• Commencement information: Comprehensive commencement information is available on the UI Commencement website.
• Receive updates: Sign up for the spring 2023 spring commencement subscription list to receive updates, and encourage your guests to do the same.
• Ceremony details: Visit the commencement ceremonies page and find your college for important information about your ceremony.
• Apparel (cap and gown): Visit the commencement apparel page for information on how to purchase apparel. Apparel will not be available for purchase at the ceremonies.

Deadlines/Reminders

• You can edit your RSVP attendance response in MyUI until the end of the day on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
• You can add or edit a commencement slide photo until Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Slides are for personal use and are not used at the in-person ceremonies.
