Commencement Program

The spring 2023 commencement program is now available to download.

The University of Iowa Commencement Program is a listing of degree candidates from each college, sorted by degree type.

Inclusion in the commencement program is not tied to participation in a ceremony.

Please note:

  • All degree candidates are listed in the program according to the time at which they earned or are expected to earn a degree. Publishing names of degree candidates in the program booklet is not a verification of completion of degree requirements.
    • Summer and fall degree candidate names appear in the fall program even if the student is participating in a spring ceremony.
  • Applying for a degree after the degree application deadline may result in exclusion of your name from the commencement program.
  • Having a directory restriction on your academic record may also result in exclusion of your name from the program.

If you have trouble finding a graduate's name, try opening the pdf and using Ctrl+F (Windows) or Command-F (Mac) and typing in the name you're looking for.

Commemorative Slides

The deadline to add or edit a commencement slide photo in MyUI was Wednesday, April 26, 2023. New slides cannot be generated and existing slides cannot be edited. Slides are for personal use and are not used at the in-person ceremonies.
