Get Your Regalia

The Herff Jones online ordering portal is now open. Limited quantities of regalia are available at the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore in the Iowa Memorial Union.

Order Deadlines

  • March 13 – Order online for pickup at GradFest on April 15 and then at the Iowa Hawk Shop.
  • April 17 – Order online for home delivery (shipping fees apply).

All graduates must have their regalia before the ceremony. Regalia will not be available for purchase or rental at ceremonies.

Graduation Support Program

The Dean of Students Graduation Support Program provides financial assistance to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students facing financial hardship. This support ensures that all students, regardless of financial circumstances, can take part in commencement ceremonies.

Commencement Program Information

The University of Iowa Commencement Program lists degree candidates by degree type within each college.

  • Inclusion in the program does not verify degree completion and is not tied to ceremony participation.
  • Students earning degrees in summer and fall appear in the fall program, even if they participate in a spring ceremony.
  • Applying for a degree after the application deadline may result in exclusion from the commencement program.
  • Students with directory restrictions in MyUI will be excluded. Learn more about how to review your data restrictions on the commencement website.

Review your directory restriction settings in MyUI by Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Venues, Livestream, and Commemorative Slides

Ceremony Venues

Spring 2026 ceremonies will be held at the following venues. Visit your venue page for information on parking, prohibited items, entrances, and accessibility.  

Note: Carver-Hawkeye Arena ceremonies will adhere to a clear bag policy.

Livestream Details

All ceremonies will be livestreamed with captions on the University of Iowa YouTube channel.

  • Access through your ceremony’s “Livestream” section.
  • Streams will remain available for viewing after the event.

Commemorative Slides

  • You can submit a photo for your commemorative slide in MyUI by Monday, April 27, 2026.
  • Slides are for personal keepsakes and will not be displayed during in-person ceremonies.
