The RSVP Portal is Open

You are receiving this message because according to our records you have a summer 2022 degree application on file. The University of Iowa does not hold summer commencement ceremonies but summer graduates are eligible to participate in a spring ceremony.

Thinking about participating in a spring 2022 commencement ceremony? The RSVP portal in MyUI is now open! The RSVP process is an Opt-In system. Only students who RSVP "Attending" by the deadline will be recognized at the ceremonies. The RSVP deadline for spring 2022 is Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. You will need to RSVP "Attending" to ensure your name will be read at the ceremony and displayed during the ceremony broadcast.

The RSVP portal is located in MyUI within the Degrees/Graduation Tile by clicking on Commencement Attendance. You will receive a confirmation email to your uiowa.edu account once your RSVP has been finalized.

• APPAREL (CAP & GOWN): Visit the Commencement website Apparel page for information on how to purchase apparel. Apparel will not be available for purchase at the ceremonies.

Deadlines/Reminders

• You can edit your RSVP attendance response until the end of the day on April 10, 2022.
• You can add or edit a commencement slide photo until April 26, 2022. Slides are for personal use and are not used at the in-person ceremonies.
