The RSVP is an opt-in process. Only students who select “I plan to participate” by the deadline will have their names read and displayed during the ceremony. Once your RSVP is submitted, a confirmation email will be sent to your university email account.
If you do not plan to attend, please select “I do not plan to participate.” This will ensure you no longer receive RSVP reminders or ceremony-related updates.

Regalia is available for purchase through the Herff Jones online portal and at the Iowa Hawk Shop and University Bookstore in the Iowa Memorial Union.

All graduates must have their regalia before the commencement ceremony. Regalia will not be available for purchase or rental at the ceremonies.

Graduation Support Program
The Dean of Students Graduation Support Program provides financial assistance to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students facing financial hardship. This program helps cover the cost of graduation apparel and materials for those who may be unable to afford participation in commencement ceremonies.
