History News for Undergraduates

Find out about History Honors

We invite you to an information session about Honors in the History major, next Monday, October 23, at 5 p.m. in Schaeffer Hall 302. This is an opportunity for all majors to find out the requirements and benefits of pursuing honors in the major. Benefit #1: we will provide cookies for this info session. 

Other benefits might include:

  • Finding community within the cohort,
  • Receiving expert guidance from faculty advisors,
  • Developing research and writing skills while exploring a topic of your choice,
  • Preparing for graduate school or professional life.

Would you like to work in a museum? What about a library, archive, or park? A certificate in Museum Studies can be a great complement to your BA in History, opening up a host of career opportunities!

Learn more during the upcoming Museum Studies Certificate Information Session. Meet some of the instructors, talk about the certificate requirements and hear about the amazing internship opportunities available! Meeting will be held simultaneously in-person and via Zoom. One final date:
