Greetings,
I am currently working on health science course reserves for the 2022 spring semester. If you have any materials you would like to have placed on course reserve, please submit an online “Hardin Library – Place Items on Reserve” form.
Alternatively, you may fill out a course reserve book list sheet (HawkID and password required) and send the list back to me by e-mail attachment.
The Hardin Library will be open regular hours this semester and print course reserves will be available. Our experience is that for most students, electronic books are more convenient. Unless you instruct us otherwise, we will try to purchase an electronic version of any book you may need. However, there may not be an e-book available for libraries to obtain and, in some cases, the available e-book may allow only one user at a time. If there is not a suitable e-book version available for libraries, we will try to purchase a print copy of the book.
We also have a webpage that explains how, if you have an ICON website, you can link electronic articles, books, or book chapters directly into the website.
If you have any questions, you may wish to scan our list of reserve guidelines, or you may send me an e-mail at mark-onken@uiowa.edu.
Thank you,
Mark Onken, M.A.
