I am currently working on Health Science Course Reserves for the spring 2025 semester. If you have any course materials you would like to have placed on Hardin Library’s Course Reserve, there are a couple of options:
- Complete the online “Hardin Library – Place Items on Reserve” form
- Please include the full title of the item, author, edition number, and ISBN, if possible.
- Email me directly at lisa-carrasco@uiowa.edu.
- Please include the course number, instructor name, and a list of the items you wish to have on Course Reserve.
- Please also include the full title of the item, author, edition number, and ISBN, if possible.
Course Materials+ (CM+) is a user-friendly solution for accessing course resources via ICON. This tool is designed to help instructors efficiently manage access to library materials and course content ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all students. Instructors also have greater control over the display and organization of content in their reading lists and can build/update lists during the semester. Help for CM+ can be found online.
- If you want to carry over your Course Reserve Reading List from semester to semester, or if you had Course Reserves from a previous year and want to use the same materials, please let me know via email.
We at Hardin Library understand that electronic books are more convenient for most students. However, we have found that medical electronic resources are more expensive for libraries, unavailable for libraries to purchase, or come with limited seating. We will try to purchase an electronic version if that is your preference, but it is not guaranteed.
