We utilize this information (anonymously, of course!) to build our employment data dashboard so that fellow and future Hawkeyes can see where UI grads go. What skills have you gained from the position?

“I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about the typical waste streams and the most efficient ways to recycle them or reuse them. I’ve also gained communication skills by talking with international vendors about using alternative packaging to reduce the amount of waste that comes into frontier.”

We're hiring for this Spring!

The Experience Ambassador is an undergraduate position that supports on campus outreach to promote internships, the Hawkeye Experience Grant, engagement opportunities and the Hawkeye Engage website. The position is paid $11 per hour and is up to 5 hours per week. Great experience for students interested in a future career in student affairs, education, or public speaking, or for those looking to give back to their fellow students while getting paid.

Career Peer Advisors provide staffing for our general drop-in services, review resumes and other professional materials, and assist with office outreach efforts. In addition, successful applicants will have the chance to develop advising skills, enhance public speaking ability, network with professionals, and gain useful knowledge for their own career development. This is a paid internship.
