Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!
Your diploma will be sent to the Diploma Delivery Address you provide on your degree application 6 - 8 weeks after the end of the session. To confirm your Diploma Delivery Address, log on to your degree application on MyUI. Under Student Information click on Degree Application. Next click on (edit) to review and/or update your delivery information. Verify your Diploma Delivery Address is correct and the Diploma Delivery Method you selected is still your best choice. Changes to your diploma delivery information must be made no later than May 6, 2022.
Diploma Delivery Address
Your diploma will be sent to the Diploma Delivery Address you provide on your degree application on MyUI, 6 - 8 weeks after the end of the session. It is extremely important for students to provide a correct diploma delivery address. If your diploma is undeliverable, or delivered to your previous address, it will be necessary for you to provide a correct diploma delivery address and pay a $10 reissuing fee.
Please confirm and/or edit your Diploma Delivery Address in MyUI no later than May 6, 2022.
Diploma Delivery Method
Please verify your Diploma Delivery Method on your Application for Degree in MyUI. Any changes to delivery information must be made by May 6, 2022.
Domestic U.S. Addresses
- USPS Mail - United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Mail works well for domestic delivery. There is no tracking number with USPS First Class domestic bulk mail.
International Addresses
- USPS International Airmail - Recommended for International diploma delivery with a tracking number. If using Airmail, there is no charge for the original diploma mailing. You will receive an email with a tracking number after your diploma has been shipped.
If you require FedEx delivery to your diploma delivery address, please contact Diploma Services at reg-diploma@uiowa.edu. A $15 domestic (U.S.) or $45 International FedEx fee will be charged to your U-Bill. FedEx delivery may not speed up the delivery to a U.S. address as diplomas will have to be shipped to the University of Iowa after they have been printed, before we are able to process them for FedEx delivery. FedEx delivery is not an option for local delivery to the Iowa City/Coralville area.
Diplomas will not be released to students with past due balances on their U-Bill.
