We are reaching out as it has come to our attention that you may have tried to drop a fall 2020 course in MyUI this week but were unsuccessful. This error has been resolved. If you still wish to drop a course for fall 2020, you should now be able to initiate the drop in the Courses and Registration panel in MyUI.
The deadline to drop a fall course is Friday, December 18, at 11:59 p.m. central standard time. You must request and receive all authorizations before you can complete the drop on MyUI. If your drop requires Dean’s authorization, contact your college office. Offices that provide authorization will close at 4:30 on Friday so you must get them completed by then. If you have questions about dropping classes, please contact your advisor or your college office.
Please note that this feature is only available for courses that are considered full semester-length courses. Drops for course that are off-cycle or have already ended will need to be managed through email. Those directions can be found here.
