This message is intended for all campus contacts that receive program of study (POS) memo updates via email from the Office of the Registrar.
At the request of the Graduate College and the College of Education, the valid primary attribute on the school teacher librarian (licensure preparation program K-12) EDU was changed from "no" to "yes", effective immediately. Students can now participate in this program without being concurrently enrolled in another program of study.
When the licensure was established, it was envisioned that students would complete it concurrently with the MA in library and information science. Now, students are seeking to begin the licensure program after completion of their MA degree and this change in MAUI will allow for these enrollments.
