New Electrical and Computer Engineering Minors

This message is intended for all campus contacts who receive program of study (POS) memo updates via email from the Office of the Registrar.

At the request of the College of Engineering and with approval from the Office of the Provost, two new minors are created in MAUI, effective fall 2026. These minors are open to any undergraduate student at the University of Iowa. 

• Artificial Intelligence: Theory, Methods, and Applications MINOR
• Electrical Engineering MINOR
