Fall 2020 Virtual Commencement Greetings

UI Commencement

Welcome to Fall 2020 Virtual Commencement

The fall 2020 commencement ceremonies will be held virtually at the same time as normally scheduled. Each college will livestream their ceremony and every student who chooses to opt-in via the RSVP process will be individually recognized. The livestreams will be embedded on the collegiate ceremonies pages on the commencement website or you can join the chat on YouTube premiere.

We hope that you will join us in celebrating the achievements of the class of 2020.

Individuals who choose to participate in commencement will have the opportunity to upload a photo to be displayed on their commencement slide. Adding a photo is optional.

A few notes about choosing a photo for the commencement slide:

  • Photo should be of the student and only the student.
  • The student should be the focal point of the photo. Photos can be cropped within the RSVP page.
  • Photos will be reviewed by the college(s) and are subject to removal. If the photo is not approved, the student will be contacted and will have the opportunity to upload a new photo.
  • To verify photo quality, individuals are strongly encouraged to preview their slide photo on a computer screen, instead of a phone or other small personal device. Keep in mind the slides will be viewed on televisions during the virtual ceremonies.
