Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We wanted to share the general timeline for when your degree may be conferred and you could receive your digital and print diplomas.
Dec. 21, 2022
- Fall 2022 grades are due and added to students’ records.
Dec. 22, 2022–Jan. 16, 2023
- Fall 2022 degree candidates are reviewed for eligibility to graduate.
Dec. 26–27, 2022
- University Holidays, Office Closed
Dec. 30, 2022–Jan. 16, 2023
- Degrees are conferred and degree notations will appear on your official transcript with Dec. 16, 2022, as the conferral date.
Dec. 30, 2022
- Degree conferral will begin as degree clearance is completed. Graduates will receive an email when their degree is conferred.
Jan. 2, 2023
- University Holidays, Office Closed
Jan. 23–27, 2023
- Digital and print diplomas are available for students whose degrees are conferred by Jan. 3, 2023. You will receive updates sent to the email address included on your degree application when your digital diploma is released, and printed diploma is shipped.
Feb. 6–10, 2023
- Digital and print diplomas are available for students whose degrees are conferred Jan. 4–16, 2023. You will receive updates sent to the email address included on your degree application when your digital diploma is released, and printed diploma is shipped.
Conferral emails are sent to the email address included on your degree application after degrees have been conferred and minors or certificates awarded.
Graduates will receive an email with a link to download your credential when it is available from our trusted partner, CeCredential Trust. Be sure to download and save your credential as this link will expire in 45 days.
Note: Not all degrees are conferred at the same time. Conferral will vary by college and within colleges or majors if clearance is not completed or applications are pending. | | Additional Proof of Graduation
If you need proof of graduation before you receive your diploma, you have the following options after you receive your conferral email:
- Order a transcript in MyUI.
- Order a degree verification letter in MyUI.
- Request a degree verification from the National Student Clearinghouse using MyUI (Student Information > Documentation & Reports > National Student Clearinghouse).
