Save Time with the Grade Export and Upload Tools

This email is being sent to all instructors teaching multiple courses. Please disregard this message if you have submitted final grades.

This is a reminder that the final grades for off-cycle courses ending on or before Dec. 10, and full semester-length courses, need to be submitted by Tuesday, Dec. 19, and approved by 4:59 pm on Dec. 20. To simplify the final grade entry process, it is recommended for faculty members teaching courses with high enrollment or multiple sections of the same course to use MAUI in ICON integration or upload grades via .csv file, as it can help save time.

Thank you for all you do to support your students!

Upload Grades to MAUI

This approach eliminates the need for manually entering grades. A single .csv file can be used for multiple sections of the same course. Furthermore, the file may include "status" and "date" details for students who receive AUU, F, N, or U grades. Authorized teaching assistants can assist with grading, formatting files, and uploading them to MAUI for primary instructors or course supervisors to review and submit.

Questions uploading grades to MAUI via .csv file should be directed to Reg-MAUI-Support

MAUI in ICON

Exporting grades from ICON is a straightforward process. Final grades can be exported and uploaded to MAUI with minimal file formatting requirements, or they can be automatically imported to MAUI through ICON integration. This automation significantly reduces the time spent on manually inputting grades into MAUI, thereby improving overall workflow efficiency. Authorized teaching assistants with access to ICON grades can send grades to MAUI for the primary instructor or course supervisor to review and submit.

Questions regarding the ICON export/upload process should be directed to the ITS-HelpDesk.
