You are receiving this message because you are listed as a Sample Plan administrator for an academic unit. If you do not update sample plans, please contact reg-sample-plans@uiowa.edu so that the information can be updated in MAUI.
We ask that you review each Sample Plan you administer at least once per year for course, sequence, and/or requirement changes in order to ensure it still shows an accurate plan that the department recommends. Any "Create" or "Update" workflow forms should be submitted by June 1, 2021.
Here are a few reminders for the process:
- Certain Course Library changes will prompt the Sample Plan team to update a Sample Plan without a departmental request.
- When updating your plans, always choose to update the most recent version. A Fall 2021 plan may have been started due to a Course Library change. You will receive a workflow error if you try to update a plan with an end session.
- New or updated Sample Plans will not be published to MyUI or the General Catalog until both the workflow approval process has been completed and the program's 2021-22 General Catalog pages have been finalized. If we have started a new plan due to Course Library changes but do not receive an update form, we will prompt you via email.
- For a Sample Plans workflow refresher, details on mile markers/footnotes, and other information, please visit registrar.uiowa.edu/sample-plans-study.
- If the information on an existing plan is still correct, you may not need to take any action for the upcoming year.
