Building ICON courses with accessibility in mind from the ground up means accessibility options can be available to everyone, and students will have an easier time accessing content and completing assignments. AI Guidance and Monthly Meetups

In case you missed it! A new artificial intelligence hub on the Information Technology Resources website outlines guidelines and use cases for University of Iowa employees and students. Interested in discussing AI? Join OTLT the third Friday of every month at 9:30 a.m. for hands-on demonstrations for interacting with AI platforms and facilitated activities to help you experiment and innovate.

Attend the 2024 Student Tech Panel

How are students using technology to learn, engage with course materials, and connect with their instructors and peers? Join the Academic Technology Advisory Council for this year’s Student Technology Panel from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, in University Capitol Centre 2520D or on Zoom to learn how students foster their own learning using technology.

Join the Data-Informed Teaching Community of Practice on Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 4 to 5 p.m. to connect with other instructors interested in using data to improve student success at the course or program level. In this meeting, faculty who are participating in a pilot with a new learning analytics dashboard will share their experiences incorporating data into their teaching. We'll use this conversation as a springboard for a broader discussion so that all attendees leave with useful takeaways regardless of the data they have access to and their experience using it.
