Dear Petersen Residents,

University Housing and Dining is required to have fire drills throughout the academic year. This is a notification that your residence hall will have a fire drill on Friday, Jan. 30,  at or around 3:30 p.m. Please remember that during all fire alarms and building evacuations, we request that you evacuate the building using the nearest exit, after closing and locking your room door behind you.

You MUST evacuate during a fire alarm; failure to do so is a violation of university policy and could result in disciplinary action. Once you exit the hall, please move to a safe distance away from the building, but do not block traffic. University Housing and Dining staff will help instruct you where to go and let you know when you are able to reenter the building.
