ARPA-H announces the Systems for Tracking and Resilience in Efficient Agricultural-input Management (STREAM) program.

This program is seeking experts in agricultural and weed sciences, AI and machine learning, advanced chemistry, drone development, and related fields to form interdisciplinary teams tackling the next generation of weed management. Opportunities span novel herbicides, precision and nonchemical weed control, chemical monitoring, and environmental remediation. Proposals addressing one or more technical areas are due September 14, 2026.

The Defense Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DEPSCoR) – Research Collaboration (RC) opportunity is open.

This opportunity supports new DoD research collaborations between a full-time faculty member who has never served as PI on a directly funded DoD award and an experienced DoD-funded investigator who will serve as a mentor. The program is designed to introduce new investigators to DoD research priorities, challenges, and the broader DoD research ecosystem. White papers are due October 12, 2026.

Description: Brain Research Foundation’s Annual Seed Grant Program was initiated in 1981. The purpose of our program is to provide start-up monies for new research projects in the field of neuroscience that will likely lead to extramural funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) or other outside funding sources.
