The Alzheimer's Association announces the Part the Cloud - Enable the Molecule for Therapeutics Program (PTC-EMT).

The PTC-EMT program is focused on accelerating the development of promising therapeutics for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias by advancing them through the final stages of IND-enabling research. The letter of intent deadline is August 6.

Sloan Research Fellowships now accepting nominations through September 15.

Sloan Research Fellowships are prestigious two-year, $75,000 awards that support early-career researchers who demonstrate exceptional promise in fields such as chemistry, computer science, earth system science, economics, mathematics, neuroscience, and physics. Designed to recognize creativity, innovation, and leadership potential, these fellowships are open to tenure-track (but untenured) faculty with a Ph.D. and a strong record of independent research. Nominations must come from a department head or senior researcher and should include a nomination letter, the candidate’s CV, two representative research articles, a one-page research statement, and three letters of support from researchers (ideally from different institutions and not mentors or co-authors). Nominations are accepted from July 15 to September 15.

NIH: Environmental Health Sciences Core Centers Program (P30 Clinical Trials Optional)

Description: This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites grant applications for Environmental Health Sciences Core Centers (EHSCC). As intellectual hubs for environmental health science research, the EHSCC are expected to be the thought leaders for the field and advance the goals of the 2025-2029 NIEHS Strategic Plan. The Core Centers provide critical research infrastructure, shared facilities, services and/or resources, to groups of investigators conducting environmental health sciences research. The overall goal of an EHSCC is to identify and capitalize on emerging issues that advance improving the understanding of the relationships among environmental exposures, human biology, and disease.
