NEH Seeks Applications for Scholarly Editions and Translations Program
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Research is accepting applications for its Scholarly Editions and Translations program. This program supports collaborative teams that edit, annotate, and translate foundational humanities texts that are essential for advancing scholarship but are not currently available in adequate editions or translations. This year's competition is limited to projects focused on American history and culture or Western civilization. The deadline is September 16, 2026.

NIH PRIMED-AI Funding Opportunities Are Now Open
Precision Medicine with AI: Integrating Imaging with Multimodal Data (PRIMED-AI) supports the development of innovative, reliable, and cost-effective AI tools that integrate clinical imaging with other health data to advance precision medicine and improve care for patients with chronic and other health conditions.

Applications are now being accepted for five funding opportunities:

CDC: Great Health for America

Description: To reduce childhood chronic disease burden in four targeted communities of Lake County, Indiana; Sandusky and Toledo metro area, Ohio; Brownsville, Texas; and Petersburg, Virginia by funding community-driven demonstration projects that identify root causes, implement evidence-based interventions, and track measurable health outcomes. Findings will inform replication of successful approaches in additional communities and guide future HHS and CDC investments in community-level chronic disease prevention.
Limitation: four applications per institution

NIH: Nutrition Obesity Research Centers (NORCs) (P30 Clinical Trial Optional)

Description: This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites applications from institutions/organizations that propose to establish core centers that are part of an integrated and existing program of nutrition and/or obesity research. The Nutrition Obesity Research Centers (NORC) program is designed to support and enhance the national research effort in nutrition and obesity. NORCs support three primary research-related activities: Research Core services, a Pilot and Feasibility (P and F) program, and a Scientific Catalyst program.

NIH: Integration of Nutrition Training into Health Care Education Challenge

Description: The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Nutrition Research (ONR) announces the “Integration of Nutrition Training into Health Care Education” Challenge. ONR’s mission is to stimulate innovative research to address the complexities of nutrition, its ecology, and its critical role in health across the lifespan for all. The goal of this challenge is to identify, evaluate, and promote effective, scalable, and evidence-based approaches to integrating nutrition training into medical and nursing education, including both established programs and emerging models with strong potential for dissemination.

W.M. Keck Foundation Research Program (June Cycle 2027)

Description: The W.M. Keck Foundation supports projects that aim to deliver pioneering and fundamental scientific discoveries in important and emerging areas of research. It funds high-impact research in basic physical, life, and biomedical sciences, including instrumentation development and engineering approaches in service of answering basic scientific questions.
