Sociological Initiatives Foundation Offers Grants Addressing Social Inequality and Public Policy This program funds research that links social science to social change, with a focus on laws, policies, institutions, and practices that contribute to inequality in the United States. Priority is given to projects addressing racism, xenophobia, classism, gender bias, exploitation, human rights, and social justice, as well as research on language learning and behavior and their intersection with social and policy issues. Grants range from $15,000-$20,000. Concepts are due August 14.

| | | New Limited Submission Opportunities | | Description: The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The overarching goal of this National Institute on Aging (NIA) R25 program is to support educational activities that compliment and/or enhance training opportunities to ensure a workforce that is well prepared to meet the nation’s biomedical, behavioral and clinical research needs, help recruit individuals with specific specialty or disciplinary backgrounds to research careers in biomedical, behavioral and clinical sciences and foster a better understanding of biomedical, behavioral and clinical research and its implications.

Applications for grants are considered in the following areas: Education, Social Service, Healthcare, Civic and Cultural, and Environmental.
