The Office of Naval Research (ONR) Young Investigator Program (YIP) requests applications.
The ONR YIP supports early-career scientists and engineers in their first or second full-time academic position. The program aims to attract top talent to Navy research, support innovative projects, and encourage long-term academic careers. Proposals should focus on basic or applied research that is creative and relevant to national security. Proposers are strongly encouraged to contact the appropriate Program Officer point of contact for a specific technical area to discuss their research ideas before submitting a proposal.
Burroughs Wellcome Fund request letters of intent to the Pathogenesis of Infectious Disease (PATH) program.
The PATH program supports assistant professors using multidisciplinary approaches to study how infectious agents interact with the human body. It’s designed to help early-career researchers explore key points where infections and human systems meet. Letters of intent are due July 17, 2025. | | Limited Submission Opportunities | | Description: The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) will offer grants for arts projects in any discipline that celebrate the contributions to American history of one or more of the national heroes listed in Executive Order 13978. They are accepting proposals for works of art in a range of formats: plays, operas, literary arts, concerts, visual arts, museum exhibitions, etc. that honor these individuals. | Description: The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Preservation and Access is accepting applications for the Rediscovering Our Revolutionary Tradition program. The purpose of this program is to preserve and improve access to primary source materials that document the history of America’s founding era and of American government in federal, state, and local contexts. Supported activities include conservation treatment and rehousing, digitization and description, transcription and translation, and updating existing digital resources to ensure long-term public availability. This program is offered in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026.
