Procter and Gamble has launched two new opportunities in hygiene and packaging. 
Procter and Gamble is looking to identify inner barrier solutions for fiber-based packages that enable sufficient product protection and shelf life for liquid detergents but remain fully recyclable in the existing paper/cardboard streams.

Procter and Gamble is interested in ideas that help improve the cleaning performance and durability of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or expand the functionality to enable cleaning in kitchen or on glass. We would like to be able to tailor the abrasion and absorbency, incorporate cleaning chemistries, and control the release of chemistry during use.

NIH: Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases (R25 Independent Clinical Trial not Allowed)

Description: The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The overarching goal of this R25 program is to support educational activities that encourage individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those from groups underrepresented in the biomedical and behavioral sciences, to pursue further studies or careers in research. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) provides support to eligible, domestic institutions to develop and implement Postbaccalaureate Research Education Programs in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases (DEM).

Reminder NIH: Director’s Early Independence Awards (DP5 Clinical Trial Optional)

Description: The NIH Director's Early Independence Award supports rigorous and promising junior investigators who wish to pursue independent research soon after completion of their terminal doctoral degree or post-graduate clinical training, thereby forgoing the traditional post-doctoral training period and accelerating their entry into an independent research career.

Reminder CDC: Occupational Safety and Health Training Project Grants (T03)

Description: NIOSH / CDC invites grant applications for Training Project Grants (TPGs) that are focused on occupational safety and health training. NIOSH is mandated to provide an adequate supply of qualified personnel to carry out the purposes of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. NIOSH supported Education and Research Centers (ERCs) and TPGs are how NIOSH meets this mandate.
