Funding Landscape

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) recently announced two programs focused on hearing restoration and improving the research ecosystem:

The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) funding opportunities are now open.
The CDMRP has released new program announcements, with multiple funding mechanisms now available. Pre-application deadlines are approaching.

New Limited Submission Opportunities

CDC: National Center for Construction Safety and Health Research and Translation (U54)

Description: NIOSH is seeking applications from qualified organizations for a National Center for Construction Safety and Health Research and Translation (also known as the NIOSH National Construction Center). Applicants are expected to propose multi-disciplinary approaches for impactful applied and intervention research and hazard identification and controls, to develop partnerships for implementing prevention and intervention activities, and to serve as leaders in research translation and research-to-practice for the protection of construction workers in the United States.
Limitation: one application per institution

CDC: Occupational Safety and Health Training Project Grants (T03)

Description: The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), invites grant applications for Training Project Grants (TPGs) that are focused on occupational safety and health training. 
Limitation: two applications per institution

Dr. Scholl Foundation Grants 2026

Description: The Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to organizations committed to improving our world. Applications for grants are considered in the following areas: Education, Social Service, Healthcare, Civic and Cultural, and Environmental. Those categories are not intended to limit the interest of the Foundation from considering other worthwhile projects.
