American Foundation for Suicide Prevention: Distinguished Investigator Innovation Grant is open. American Foundation for Suicide Prevention research grants support studies that will increase our understanding of suicide or test treatments and other interventions that save lives. The Distinguished Investigator mechanism is for investigators at the level of associate professor or higher with an established record of research and publications. The award amount is $150,000 over 2 years, applications are due November 15.

ASR supports research on key cloud, aerosol, precipitation, and radiative transfer processes that affect the Earth’s radiative balance and hydrological cycle, especially processes that limit the predictive ability of regional and global models.
