ARPA-E releases Quantum Computing for Computational Chemistry Program.
The objective of the Quantum Computing for Computational Chemistry program (QC3) is to accelerate development of algorithms for quantum computers to advance energy applications of computational chemistry and materials science. Computer simulations of chemistry and materials have been driving the cutting edge of discovery for decades. Concept papers are due November 21, 2024.
DARPA releases the Young Faculty Award to enable transformative DoD capabilities.
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Young Faculty Award (YFA) program aims to identify and engage rising stars in junior research positions in academia and equivalent positions at non-profit research institutions, particularly those without prior DARPA funding, to expose them to Department of Defense (DoD) needs and DARPA’s mission to create and prevent technological surprise for national security. The YFA program will provide high-impact funding to researchers early in their careers to develop innovative new research that enables transformative DoD capabilities. Executive summaries are due November 18, 2024. | | | Limited Submission Opportunities | | Description: This program aims to increase the supply of behavioral health professionals and improve the distribution of a well-trained behavioral health workforce. The program has a specific focus on increasing access to behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and young adults.

| Description: The purpose of this program is to train doctoral health service psychology students, interns, and postdoctoral residents in integrated, interdisciplinary behavioral health. The program will prepare trainees to provide behavioral health services, including trauma informed care and substance use disorder prevention and treatment, in community-based primary care settings in high need and high demand areas. Developing health service psychology faculty is also a key aspect of this program.
