This message is intended for all campus contacts that receive program of study (POS) memo updates via email from the Office of the Registrar.
At the request of the Graduate College and with approval from the Office of the Provost, 10 new subprograms for the MA and MFA in art are effective, fall 2024. Current and future students will have the option to declare one of these new subprograms. The subprograms are available for the MFA and non-thesis and thesis options for the MA unless otherwise indicated below.
The subprograms are:
- Three-Dimensional Design (thesis MA and MFA only)
- Ceramics
- Drawing
- Graphic Design
- Intermedia and Video Art
- Jewelry and Metal Arts
- Painting
- Photography
- Printmaking
- Sculpture
